Finding food isn’t a problem in Bangkok. There’s a lot of delicious food from street vendors to mid-priced to expensive eateries.

That was the problem. Deciding where to eat was turning into a mind boggling exercise amid too many excellent choices.

So, I turned to the AroundMe app on my IPad, not even sure if it would find selections in Thailand.

WRONG.

The app laid out dozens of terrific choices in the vicinity of my hotel. This combined with TripAdvisor for reviews proved the perfect combination.

My most memorable AroundMe recommendation was a stylish cafe just off of Sukhumvit at Soi 33. There, I was served the most delicious curry in a most creative food layout.
